Hex flange nuts combine a hex driving body with an integrated bearing flange. Thread fit, nut property class, flange geometry, plain or serrated bearing face, material, finish and coating compatibility must be reviewed with the mating bolt and service environment.
DIN 6923 remains a widely requested designation. ISO’s official catalogue states that ISO 4161:2012 covers style-2 hexagon flange nuts with metric coarse threads M5 to M20, product grade A through M16 and product grade B above M16. XHT does not assume that DIN 6923, ISO 4161 or a drawing can be substituted without buyer approval.
