EPDM rubber pads and gaskets are rubber-only components reviewed for roof interfaces, mounting bases, brackets and other specified joints. They are distinct from bonded sealing washers, which combine a metal backing with an elastomer seal. XHT can review cut or moulded shapes against the buyer’s drawing, approved sample and material requirement. Define whether the part is intended for sealing, separation or support, together with its contact surfaces, compression and environment. An EPDM material name alone does not establish roof compatibility, electrical isolation, fire classification, load capacity or service life. Those properties require the exact compound, geometry and relevant evidence. The agreed quotation identifies the pad form, dimensions, material specification, adhesive scope if any, inspection and packing.
