High-load blind fastening

Structural Blind Rivet

Structural blind rivets coordinated by exact product system or performance basis, diameter, grip range, head, hole size, body and mandrel materials, retained-mandrel feature, installation tooling and required joint tests.

  • Named product system, buyer specification or released drawing
  • Rivet diameter, grip range, hole diameter and blind-side clearance
  • Head style plus body and mandrel material combination
  • Required shear, tensile, clamp or joint-performance basis
  • Installation tool, inspection plan, lot control and documents

Catalogue ranges are RFQ guidance. Final compliance and joint suitability are controlled by the buyer-approved specification, drawing, installation process and purchase order.

Product overview

Structural is a performance category—not a visual substitute

A structural blind rivet is selected as a complete fastening system. Joint behaviour depends on the exact body and mandrel design, grip, hole, material stack, head, setting tool and installation control.

XHT does not substitute an ordinary open-end blind rivet on appearance alone. The buyer must state the named system, governing specification or performance and validation basis for any proposed equivalent.

What to include in your RFQ

  • Rivet diameter, grip range, hole diameter and blind-side clearance
  • Head style plus body and mandrel material combination
  • Required shear, tensile, clamp or joint-performance basis
