Treat “DIN 933” as the start of the specification, not the whole specification
DIN 933 is still commonly used as an RFQ designation for fully threaded hex head fasteners. A useful quotation also needs the exact edition or approved drawing, thread size, nominal length, mechanical requirement, surface finish, quantity, packing and any inspection or document requirement.
For a current ISO basis, ISO’s official catalogue states that ISO 4017:2022 covers steel and stainless-steel hexagon head screws with metric coarse pitch threads from M1.6 to M64 and product grades A and B. XHT does not assume that a buyer’s DIN 933 request can be changed to another standard without approval.
