Structural bolting enquiries require the connection specification and the intended assembly, rather than a bolt grade alone. XHT reviews bolt, nut and any required washer combinations against the buyer’s governing standard, edition, tightening method and project documents. EN 14399 covers high-strength structural bolting assemblies intended for preloading; EN 15048 covers non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies. ASTM F3125/F3125M provides a separate route for specified structural bolts and assemblies in inch and metric dimensions. These routes are not assumed interchangeable. Components from unrelated sources are not combined and described as a compliant assembly without the required compatibility and assembly evidence. Supply feasibility, manufacturer identity, tests, marking, coating and documentation are confirmed before an order is agreed.
