Drawing-based sourcing

Flat geometry, forming and tooling must be reviewed together

A formed-part drawing must distinguish dimensions controlled before and after forming, together with bend radii, angle, springback allowance, hole relation, burr direction and cosmetic or functional surfaces.

Tooling cost and route depend strongly on geometry and volume. XHT coordinates feasibility and quotation but does not imply that a prototype route, sample tool or production tool is included unless stated in writing.

Technical & file control

Separate sample method from production tooling

A laser-cut and bent prototype may not reproduce every edge, grain, burr, forming mark or rate capability of a production stamping route. Any approved transition between routes must be documented by the buyer.

Before sharing files: Send only technical files you are authorized to transmit. If an NDA, access restriction or special transfer method is required, agree the route with XHT before uploading the file.
