Self-Clinching Threaded Studs

压铆螺钉(外螺纹压铆stud)

Self-clinching threaded studs provide a fixed external thread in compatible sheet metal for attachment with a mating nut. Installation uses squeezing pressure to embed the selected head and move panel material into the retention geometry. This product is specified by its installed projection, thread and panel interface. XHT can review flush-head or other drawing-defined designs against a released specification. Source suitability, material, geometry, installation procedure and inspection scope are request-dependent and established in the written quotation.

XHT coordinates partner-factory sourcing, specification review, agreed inspection, order consolidation and export arrangements. The quotation confirms the actual manufacturer, supply scope, MOQ, lead time and available documents.

Enquiry references are not a stock list. Configuration, source, availability and inspection scope are confirmed in the written quotation.

Product specification

Key details for your enquiry

Provide a complete specification for each item so geometry, materials, treatment and assembly requirements can be reviewed together.

FieldQuotation basis
Types / configuration
  • Request a flush-head form when the opposite panel face must remain flush. Enlarged-head or heavy-duty non-flush forms require explicit head clearance and installation review; they are not interchangeable by thread size alone.
  • Define external thread diameter, pitch and fit, threaded length, overall length datum, head profile, retention feature and the required installed projection. A photo is useful context but does not replace controlled dimensions.
Materials / property requirements
  • Steel, stainless steel or aluminium design families may be reviewed. Confirm the exact material and condition, panel alloy and hardness, load requirement and any prohibited substitutions.
Finishes / treatment
  • Plain condition, a specified zinc coating or agreed stainless surface condition are enquiry directions. State coating limits, corrosion requirements and any treatment that could affect thread fit or installation.
RFQ specification checks
  • Provide panel thickness, material and hardness; receiving-hole size and tolerance; hole-to-edge or bend distances; and access for the press and supporting anvil.
  • Identify the approved installation procedure and tooling. Check complete seating, installed projection, thread condition and perpendicularity using the actual panel assembly.
  • Agree dimensional inspection and thread gaging, plus push-out, torque-out or service-load verification where required. Define test fixtures, acceptance limits and sampling before ordering.
  • Send drawing number and revision, mating-nut requirements, quantity, destination and protective packing. Request sample approval, lot identification and inspection documents in the RFQ when needed.
