Hexalobular Drive Screws — TORX® Enquiries

内六瓣花形驱动螺钉(TORX®需求)

Hexalobular internal drive screws use a six-lobe recess and are selected with the complete screw specification. ISO 10664:2014 defines the basic shape, dimensions and gaging of the internal driving feature; it does not define the entire screw, material or strength class. TORX® is a proprietary drive-system designation. If a branded system is required, state it explicitly for source and documentation review. XHT reviews each enquiry by product standard or drawing, with source, configuration and supply scope confirmed per request.

XHT coordinates partner-factory sourcing, specification review, agreed inspection, order consolidation and export arrangements. The quotation confirms the actual manufacturer, supply scope, MOQ, lead time and available documents.

Enquiry references are not a stock list. Configuration, source, availability and inspection scope are confirmed in the written quotation.

Product specification

Key details for your enquiry

Provide a complete specification for each item so geometry, materials, treatment and assembly requirements can be reviewed together.

FieldQuotation basis
Types / configuration
  • Pan, countersunk and other head forms may be submitted for review with the governing product standard or released drawing. Specify machine-threaded, thread-forming or other thread construction separately from the drive.
  • Identify the precise recess system and size, required bit interface and gaging basis. TORX®, TORX PLUS® and other six-lobe interfaces must not be assumed interchangeable.
Materials / property requirements
  • State the steel grade and property requirement, or the specified stainless grade and mechanical condition. The drive shape alone does not establish material, hardness, heat treatment or permissible tightening torque.
Finishes / treatment
  • Plain, specified zinc coating or stainless surface condition can be reviewed where compatible. Define coating designation, thickness, lubrication and corrosion acceptance criteria because finish can affect fit and assembly behaviour.
RFQ specification checks
  • Provide thread diameter, pitch and fit; length and its datum; head profile and dimensions; recess size and depth; and governing standard edition or drawing revision.
  • Identify the actual mating component, installation tool and bit, target assembly torque and any controlled lubrication or locking requirement.
  • Agree head and recess inspection, drive gaging, thread gaging, dimensional records and mechanical tests required by the purchased specification. Installation verification uses the intended tool and joint.
  • Send quantity, packing and destination with requested sample approval, lot identification or inspection documents. All configurations, documentation and delivery details remain request-dependent.

Application and installation

Match the part to your assembly

Application review

Drawing- or standard-defined screw assemblies that require a specified six-lobe recess and compatible installation bit.

Installation / assembly review

  • Identify the actual mating component, installation tool and bit, target assembly torque and any controlled lubrication or locking requirement.
  • Agree head and recess inspection, drive gaging, thread gaging, dimensional records and mechanical tests required by the purchased specification. Installation verification uses the intended tool and joint.

What to include in your RFQ
